Kids Say the Darndest Things!

Last night we were eating supper at home. (Lately, eating at home has been a rare phenomenon!) Nonetheless, we were finishing up when we started talking about outer space. This led to a very deep philosophical conversation on the beginning and end of time as we know it. Jeremy and I went back and forth with Avery and Caleb, asking questions and attempting to answer their thought-provoking questions. Avery seemed to be craving some concrete answers...which we could not provide to her satisfaction. She didn't quite understand the concept of faith. Finally, she just threw her arms in the air and said, "Well, can we just have our chocolate pudding now?" We laughed at the drastic change in topics!
