Kaitlyn has a way with words sometimes, so I thought I'd share a few of her insights from the past week.
While we were studying for her spelling test on Thursday night, I asked her to spell "house." H-O-U-S-E. She spelled it with no problem. Then I asked her to spell "blouse," to which Kaitlyn said, "Mom, it's spelled the same as 'house'...just with different letters." Thank you, Miss Smarty Pants!
Tonight Kaitlyn brought a package of cookies into my room. She asked what they were, so I told her what the package said, "Chocolate Grasshopper Mint Cookies." "Are they good?" she asked. "I don't know...just try them," I replied. So she proceeded to pop a cookie into her mouth. After chewing briefly, she asked, "Are they really made of grasshoppers?" Oh, my sweet girl!
